It is noted that Ukraine's receiving of the Faraday Station is a significant geopolitical historical milestone for our country as well as an integral result of the successful implementation of the fundamentally important events described in the article. Автор висвітлює хроніку важливих подій, пов'язаних з офіційним прийняттям Україною британської антарктичної станції "Фарадей", а також із науково-організаційними заходами державних органів з координації та забезпечення проведення антарктичних досліджень і становлення української антарктичної станції "Академік Вернадський" у період 1995-1996 років.Відзначається, що отримання Україною британської антарктичної станції "Фарадей" є значною геополітичною історичною віхою для нашої країни, а також невід'ємним результатом успішної реалізації описаних у статті принципово важливих подій.
