Резюме:The objective of the work is to assess the ecological status of selected areas of the AzovBlack Sea basin. This assessment includes detailed studies of the seabed, sediments and detection of navigation obstacles by a set of internally developed hydroacoustic means (sonar survey of the topography of the bottom, stratification of the bottom sediments) with construction of the survey tablet (application of the carrier motion with coordinates, application of the sonar image of the bottom with identified sunken objects and features of the bottom relief). Research methods and instruments – hydroacoustic soundings of the water column and seabed with the aid of a mobile hydroacoustic complex, mathematical processing of the obtained results using geoinformation technologies. The studies were carried out to obtain new detailed hydrographic and oceanographic data on the state of the marine environment, the topography of the seabed, navigational hazardsand sunken objects. The results of the expeditionary studies will be used in the process of readjusting river maps to take into account the actual hydrographic, hydroacoustic and hydrological status of the anomalous areas under study with the aim to ensure safe navigation on Ukrainian inland waterways. Carried out research has scientific, technical and practical significance.
