The presentation is a framework of M.Minakov's report on mutual influence of history of philosophy and ideology. The analyzed case is connected with Windelband’s academic career, political attitudes and philosophical texts. This analysis compares ideas and methodological principles of Windelband with the ideological context of ‘germanization’ of Elsass. Results of this case analysis are applicable for a broader understanding of interrelations between philosophy and politics.
