У дисертаційній роботі розкривається історико-культурне значення острова Хортиця в процесі виникнення та становлення запорозького козацтва. Висвітлено маловідомі й відомі факти історико-культурного феномену острова Хортиця – колиски запорозького козацтва. Охарактеризовано стратегічне розташування Хортиці на важливих комунікаціях українського пограниччя, виявлено геополітичні особливості острова. Вивчено передумови виникнення раннього козацтва, функціонування тут у ХІ–ХІV ст. великого міста-порту Протолче – південного форпосту Русі, що стало предтечею Хортицької Запорозької Січі. Розроблено характер діяльності на острові видатних українських гетьманів Д. Вишневецького, 39 Я. Шаха, П. Конашевича- Сагайдачного. Враховуючи складність і актуальність порушених питань, здобувач оперує фактами археології, картографії, етнографії, лінгвістики, фольклористики тощо, прагнучи об’єктивно показати історико -культурне значення острова у виникненні та становленні запорозького козацтва. Доводиться, що Хортицька Січ трансформувалася ще з літописного Протолче в часи Д. Вишневецького і являла собою систему висунутих уперед форпостів, які блокували противника в стратегічних місцях, сковувала наступальну ініціативу ворога. Запропоновано (у співавторстві з д. пол. н. В.М. Северинюком) розгорнуту ідейно-тематичну структуру Музею історії запорозького козацтва Національного заповідника “Хортиця”, якого ще досі не створено в Україні. Об’єктивну правду про козацтво розглянуто як наріжний камінь української історичної свідомості. The historical and cultural significance of the island of Khortytsya in the process of the arising and formation of the Zaporozhyan Cossackdom is being formed in the dissertation. The unknown and well-known facts of the historical and cultural phenomenon of the Khortytsya Island, the cradle of the Zaporozhyan Cossacks, are being ascertained. The characteristic is being given to the strategic position of the island on the important communications of the Ukrainian border area, the geopolitical features o f the island are being revealed. The main content of the dissertation relates the preconditions of the arising of the early Cossackdom, the functioning of the 11 -14 th c. large city-port “Protolche”, the southern outpost of Rus, that served as the forerunner of the Khortytsya Zaporozhyan Sich. The character of activities of outstanding Ukrainian hetmans Dmytro Vyshnevetsky, Yakov Shakh, Petro 42 Sagaydachny on the island is being developed. Taking into account the intricacy and actuality of the raised questions the author operates the facts of archaeology, cartography, ethnography, linguistics, study of folklore etc., seeking for the objective illustration of the historical and cultural significance of the island in the arising and formation of the Zaporozhyan Cossackdom. According to the author’s conclusion, the Khortytsya Sich transformed from the annalistic “Protolche” into the times of Dmytro Vyshnevetsky, presenting the outpost system that blocked the enemy in strategic places, holding the enemy’s offensive initiative. The active activities of Dmytro Vyshnevetsky in the Khortytsya citadel and near the Azov made the Ottoman Porte mobilize all the armed forces of the empire against him. Important practical importance lies on the suggested by the author (in co -authorship with V.M. Severynyuk) detailed ideological and thematic structure of the Zaporozhyan Cossacks’ History Museum of the National Reserve “Khortytsya” that Ukraine still lacks. The author considers the objective truth about the Cossacks as the cornerstone of the Ukrainian historical consciousness. |
