The paper deals with “Traditional building in Starosambirshchyna (by the materials of field expedition)”. In this paper the author published his field ethnographic materials collected in Starosambirskyj district in summer 2005. Starosambirshchyna is a very interesting and mysterious area and almost not researched. This territory consists of 3 parts: Opillia in the east, Pidhirja in the west and bojkivshchyna in the noth, wich have a lot of specific features of Traditional building: the house whis a dwelling whith a roof on poles near the wall, one can see a habitation chamber − “vankur” and a combination texture of the yard. |
