У статті розгядається роман Д. Гуменної «Хрещатий Яр». Визначається його місце серед інших творів, присвячених Другій світовій війні, підкреслюється його документальна основа. Позаяк дія твору відбувається в окупованому Києві окрму увагу приділено образам киян з їхніми думками та життєвими настановами. “Khreshchaty Yar” by Dokia Humenna has expressive documentary base. In this novel generalized the personal impressions and experiencing of the author and representatives of hers generation, who can suffered all the horror of Second World War. This novel is not irreproachable in artistic side. But it sufficiently exactly reproduces the emotions, sufferings, opinions of the Ukrainians in Second World War. “Khreshchaty Yar” by Dokia Humenna is saturated of details, casual situations, anecdotes or talks. Events of the novel take place in space really of existing and easily recognizable even today the Kievan streets and areas. Among the negligible quantity of characters has two diametrically opposite positions – adaptations to the realities, aspiration to get maximum benefits or satisfaction from them (Tikhoglasikha, Halyna) and attempt to change something in the Ukrainian fate, line up the state perspective of Ukraine (Marjyan). |
