Однією з складових аналізу виступає ідея андрогінності як поєднання чоловічого та жіночого. Характеристики гендерної ідентичності не є сталими та залежать від культурної ситуації. Дослідження ведеться на матеріалі трьох культурних традицій – архаїчної, християнської та постмодерністської (This article invistigates the transformation of ideas and attitudes associated with the category of gender identity in culture.
