<p>Parallel simulation system for large computer networks is discussed. Proposed architecture is aimed to simulate big networks by means of parallel computing and effective memory consumption. System uses hybrid synchronization scheme of null messages and windowing, and provides near-linear parallel speedup. Modular concept of the system allows easily adding of new network devices and protocols. Modules for simulating routers, links and traffic sources are offered.</p> |
