Ukraine allocates to support agricultural production is quite significant financial resources due to budgetary payments and subsidies account for value added tax (VAT). However, this does not significantly influence on both the output and performance indicators to improve agricultural production. With significant available resources of Ukraine country of export of livestock products in the country became an importer. All this testifies the imperfection of the mechanism of state support agricultural production in Ukraine. The global financial crisis has reduced the financial capacity of the state support of the agricultural industry. Therefore, under these conditions there is an urgent need for efficient use of budgetary resources and improve the mechanism of support agricultural production in Ukraine.
