The article deals with the research of the title complex as the text categoryin the modern context of scientific views. The work’s title is studied as thecomponent of poetical system, reflecting the author specific and fundamentalfeatures of artistic trend. The article describes the features of work’s titles in themodernism literature. On the base of comprehension of the main trends in thetitle complex constructing in Ukrainian literature of modernism the structuraltypes of titles and its semantic components are depicted, the interpretation ofthe titles are represented. The corps of texts in which titles have differentfunctional destination are reflected systematically; the typology andmodification of titles are comprehended; the problems and prospects ofresearch of title complex as a poetics structure-forming factor in the literatureof modernism are described. Special attention is paid to the disclosing specificof the styles syncretism, separately exposes the peculiarities of representationsconcepts of impressionism, decadans, symbolism, neoromanticism,expressionism in the title complex of modernism. New approaches to title complex’ studying are proposed, when analysis oflanguage embodiment of artistic image permits to comprehend authorintentions, ideological, philosophical and aesthetical principles of the artistictrend. Building on the tradition of naming proposed romanticism and realism,modernism has brought significant changes in the tradition of naming works ofart.The structural and semantic principles in the titles of the works ofUkrainian writers in late 19th – early 20th centuries are analyzed in complex.The title is studied in power field of style phenomenon; the typological featuresin modernism are revealed. The dominant principles, techniques and ways oftrend are fully elucidated. The phenomenon of synthetic association of differentliterature trend tendencies in title complex in Ukrainian prose is comprehended.The correlation of art tradition and artistic innovation (common literaryand individual) in title structure and semantic as well as principles, techniquesand ways is determined. The title complex evolution in Ukrainian prose of late19th – early 20th centuries is researched; the changes of principles are found outand the main vector of its development is determined. The general historicaland literary image of transformations in title principles in Ukrainian prose oflate 19th – early 20th centuries is formed; the direction of this development – themove to psychological title – is revealed
В статье рассмотрены особенности называния произведений влитературе fin de siecle. На основе выявления основных тенденций построения титульного комплекса в украинской литературе эпохи модернизма выделено структурные типы названия и его семантические составляющие, представлено интерпретацию заголовков. Осмыслено основополагающие принципы поэтики титульного комплекса исследуемого периода. Выявлена самобытность тенденций называния в украинской литературе модернизма У статті розглянуто особливості називання творів у літературі доби fin de siecle. На основі виокремлення провідних тенденцій побудови титульного комплексу в українській літературі доби модернізму виділено структурні типи назви та її семантичні складові, представлено інтерпретацію заголовків. Осмислено засадничі принципи поетики титульного комплексу досліджуваного періоду. Виявлено самобутність тенденцій називання в українській літературі доби модернізму |
