У статті розглядаються основні тенденції розвитку та удосконалення процесу навчання іноземних мов у Сполученому Королівстві Великої Британії та Північної Ірландії у період глобалізації. Продемонстрований позитивний та негативний вплив суспільних змін на ефективність іншомовної освіти, а також представлені шляхи вирішення проблем, з якими зіткнулися британські урядовці у досліджуваний історичний період. Визначені хронологічні рамки двох етапів розвитку іншомовної освіти у Великобританії.
The article covers the main tendencies of the development and the improvement of the process of teaching foreign languages in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the period of globalization. The positive and the negative influence of the social changes on the effectiveness of the foreign languages education as well as the ways of the solution of the problems that were faced by the British lawmakers in the researched historical period were represented. The chronological framework of two stages of the development of the foreign languages education in U.K. was defined. |
