Серед найгостріших проблем, що постають нині перед освітою, — проблема виховання дітей та учнівської молоді. Окреслити проблеми виховання в сучасній школі неможливо без рефлекси наукових досліджень, виховної практики. При цьому погляд має спрямовуватися не тільки й не стільки в минуле і сьогодення, скільки в майбутнє, оскільки виховання і майбутнє — два ключові аспекти, з позицій яких треба розглядати стан справ, що склався в сучасній школі, та визначати його перспективи.
