Description |
An overview of quality factors for modern infocommunication services is done. Methods of providing the required quality of service (QoS) level in distributed systems with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) are discussed. A single rate three colour token bucket algorithm as one of the methods of traffic control at the input of the network infrastructure is described. A mathematical model of traffic shaping based on a discussed token bucket algorithm for a distributed infocommunication SOA system is developed on the basis of hierarchical coloured Petri Nets mathematical tool. Analysis of the SOA system performance and productivity when traffic control was performed is done. Intensity of the output flow of successfully served requests, probability of preventive request drop and loss probability as a result of inefficiency of studied algorithm and system overloading are analysed. Recommendations on selection of the optimal values of algorithm's parameters such as Committed Information Rate (CIR), Committed Burst Size (CBS) and Excess Burst Size (EBS) are given procedure for the different packet number in queue.
