| Description |
The results of creation of the microwave plant for sintering the powder-metal pressed materials are presented. The advantages of application of traveling wave mode in microwave technology of sintering powder-metal materials in comparison with traditionally used resonance method (standing wave mode) are showed. The simulation data of electromagnetic wave propagation into waveguide of the microwave plant are given. It is shown that the porous materials obtained by the microwave technology will be able to find itself application for creating the elements of electronic (materials for cathodes of vacuum tubes) and optical (photonic band gaps) component base with the improved characteristics.
