У статті проаналізовано термін «біографічний метод», сутність якого можна викласти за формулою «особистість – це життєвий шлях людини». Проаналізовано його зміст крізь призму поглядів провідних вітчизняних та зарубіжних учених. Висвітлено передумови становлення біографічного методу в сучасній історико-педагогічній науці як інструменту наукового дослідження персоналії. Виокремлено проблемний аспект біографічного методу – основні джерела біографії. Охарактеризовано найбільш поширені класифікації джерел біографічного матеріалу, до яких належать автобіографії, біографії, некрологи, життєві історії, історії персонального досвіду, опитування та інтерв’ю, публічні та приватні архівні матеріали.
The article analyzes the term "biographical method", which can be summarized by the formula "personality is a human life way". Its meaning in the light of the leading domestic and foreign scientists’ views is defined. There has been highlighted the prerequisites for development of the biographical method in the modern historical-pedagogical science as a tool for research of personnel. There is determined a problematic aspect of the biographical method, namely the main sources of biography. The most common classifications of the biographical material sources, which include autobiographies, biographies, obituaries, life stories, stories of personal experiences, surveys and interviews, public and private archives were characterized. |
