Обрахунок пропускної здатності дороги стоїть на першому місці при знаходженні режимів роботи світлофорної сигналізації. Якомога точніше визначення пропускної здатності, наближення теоретичного (розрахункового) значення до реального є першоумовою до створення ефективного світлофорного керування транспортними потоками. В даній статі розглядається метод уточнення розрахунку пропускної здатності перегону, шляхом більш точного визначення швидкості руху транспортних засобів між перехрестями. Traffic light control causes stop waves in the traffic flow and changed speeds. Selection of the right mode of movement promotes reduced traffic compressiondissolution ratio and increased road carrying capacity. Ideal conditions of traffic flow functioning in the network are considered. This implies no intersections, obstacles and conflict flows; the distance between vehicles and speed are constant. For these conditions, a speed ensuring maximum carrying capacity was found. The calculations show that for the speed 22-25 km/hr carrying capacity per lane is 743 repr. veh./hr. In order to calculate maximum carrying capacity of a real road stretch, the fact should be taken on board that the speed of vehicles is not constant – they accelerate and slow down depending on traffic lights operation. These variations in speed should be considered. Such refined calculation will allow more realistic estimation of the effectiveness of traffic flow control. Application of this particular value of carrying capacity for computing traffic light operation modes will give more accurate and effective results for the cycle duration and control phases. For efficient work of traffic lights in a real transport flow, maximum approaching to the ideal conditions of its functioning should be achieved. To this end, cruising speed of vehicles between crossroads should be calculated. This value can be derived from expression (11), which should be transformed in such a way as to give Vрек in the left part as a recommended cruising speed at which the ideal conditions will be maximally approached. Value V in this case is the optimal operating speed of traffic flow which ensured maximum carrying capacity at the ideal conditions. |
