SUMMARY. To determine the incidences of asthmain the family history and the serum IL-4 and total IgElevels in children with laryngotracheitis (LT), recurrentlaryngotracheitis (RLT) and asthma. Number ofincidences for asthma in relatives of children withasthma and RLT was higher compared to the number ofincidences in relatives of children with LT.The serum IL-4and total IgE levels in children with LT, RLT and asthmawere significantly higher than those in control groupwith the highest values in children with asthma. TheIL-4 and total IgE levels in children with RLT exceededthose in children with LT. The analysis results indicatea more significant role of allergy in genesis of RLT thanin genesis of LT.Key words: laryngotracheitis, recurrent laryngotracheitis,asthma, total IgE, interleukin-4.
Вивчено частоту випадків бронхіальної астми (БА)в сімейному анамнезі та рівні IgE й ІЛ-4 в сироватцікрові дітей зі стенозним ларинготрахеїтом (СЛТ),рецидивним СЛТ та БА. Випадки БА у родичів дітей зБА і РСЛТ спостерігалися значно частіше, ніж у родичівдітей зі СЛТ. Рівні ІЛ-4 і загального IgE в сироватцікрові у дітей зі СЛТ, РСЛТ і БА були істотно вищими,ніж у контрольній групі, з найбільшими значеннями удітей з БА. Рівні ІЛ-4 і загального IgE у дітей з РСЛТперевищували такі у дітей зі СЛТ. Результати аналізусвідчать про більш суттєву роль алергії в генезі РСЛТ,ніж у генезі СЛТ.Ключові слова: стенозний ларинготрахеїт, ре-цидивний стенозний ларинготрахеїт, бронхіальнаастма, загальний IgE, інтерлейкін-4. |
