Стаття присвячена вивченню семантики оптатива як засобу вираження волевиявлення. В статті розкрито сутність, семантичну і функціональну своєрідність оптатива на тлі інших модальних виявів. З’ясовано, що оптатив є складним лінгвістичним явищем, виникнення якого пов’язане з необхідністю оформлення одного із видів модальних значень, а саме значення бажаності. Визначено, що оптатив являє собою суб’єктивно-модальне значення, суттю якого є ірреальна ситуація, ймовірність реалізації якої в момент мовлення не визначена, однак така реалізація могла б задовольнити потреби мовця, а тому є бажаною для нього. В статті також досліджено структурні різновиди та семантичні варіанти висловлень із загальним модальним значенням оптатива;виявлено й описано різнорівневі способи вираження оптатива; показано специфіку української і англійської мови в семантико-граматичному сенсі. (The article is dedicated to the studying of semantics of optative as one of the means of expression of volitive modality. Taking into consideration its semantics and formal expression, system analysis of optative is made in this article. The essence, semantic and functional peculiarities of optative are determined compared to other modal manifestations. It is clarified in the article that optative is a complicated linguistic phenomenon. Its origin is connected with the necessity of representation of one of the kinds of modal meaning, that is the meaning of desirability. It is determined in the article that optative is a subjective and modal meaning that contains some unreal situation, the probability of realization of which at the moment of speech is not certain, however such realization could satisfy the requirements of a speaker, so that it is desirable for him/her. In speech optative is represented by optative utterances, structural kinds and semantic variants of which are investigated in this article. Different levels and means of expression of optative are also discovered and described in the article. It is found out that the main morphological means of expression of optative are infinitive constructions and analytical personal forms with a verb in past tense and particle би in Ukrainian language, and various analytical constructions in English language. The peculiarities of the Ukrainian and English languages in semantic and grammar meaning are also indicated in the article.) |
