Добре відомо, що творцями, так само, як і інтелектуалами не народжуються. Результат залежить від того, які можливості надає оточення для реалізації генетично закладеного потенціалу. Цитуючи М. Фергюсона, Ж. Годфруа з цього приводу зазначає, що творчі здібності не створюються, а вивільняються. Однак практичне розв’язання проблеми розвитку творчих здібностей стикається з рядом серйозних теоретичних утруднень.
