Стаття присвячена актуальному питанню співвідношення поняття «символ» та поняття «знак» у сучасних лінгвістичних дослідженнях. З’ясовано зміст зазначених понять, визначено їх основні ознаки. На основі проведених досліджень вітчизняних та зарубіжних мовознавців встановлено їх схожості та відмінності. Акцентовано увагу на тому, що поняття «символ» має більш складний характер ніж поняття «знак», тому не можна говорити про їх тотожність. (The article is dedicated to urgent question of correlation of the term «symbol» and the term «sign» in modern scientific researches in the area of semiotics, linguistic semiotics, linguistics, culture science, linguistic culture science, philosophy. The aim of our research is analysis of these terms, defining its main characteristics, and also finding out its similarities and differences. The matter of the term «symbol» and the term «sign» was found out and its main characteristics were defined based on conducted research. Its similarities and differences were determined based on researches conducted by domestic and foreign linguists. It is pointed in our investigation that symbol and sign have a lot of differences. As a result of our research it was discovered that symbol is connected with non-material world of senses and it is also characterized by indefinite character and the ability connecting people into one ethno-culture. We paid our attention to the fact that the term «symbol» has more complicated character, that the term «sign», that is why it is impossible to talk about its identity. The material which was analyzed in this article promotes synthesizing and systematization information about opening the term «symbol». All results of this exploring can be used for the purpose of prevention contextual mixing in usage analyzed terms in modern linguistic researches.) |
