It also touches upon the problem of the main characters’ speech in the novels of Agatha Christie «The Murder оf Roger Ackroyd» and James Hadley Chase «Come Easy – Go Easy» and in the tale «The Tell-Tale Heart» by Edgar Allan Poe. Narrative in these novels and the tale is presented through narrator’s point of view and is characterized by all kinds of different deviations.

The choice of unreliable narrators helps the authors to broaden the readers’ outlook, to see the world from unexpected angles.
