У статті аналізуються лінгвістичні та екстралінгвістичні чинники появи сучасних запозичень, досліджуються їх структурно-семантичні та функціонально-стилістичні характеристики. Особлива увага приділяється опису механізмів адаптації запозичень до норм німецького правопису, морфології та словотвору, а також їх інтеграції у лексико-семантичну систему німецької мови. (One of the the major development tendencies of the modern lexical system of the German language is borrowings from American English. The article studies lingual and extralingual factors of the occurance of the borrowings along with their structural, semantic, functional and stylistic features. The article focuses on researching the adaptation mechanisms of the borrowings to the German orthography, morphology, word formation and their integration into the lexico-semantic system of the German language. Extralingual determinancy of the borrowings is a set of social, psychological and cultural intentions that trigger assigning a new name to an existing object or a phenomenon. The motivation behind using the borrowings lies in the necessity to fill a lexical gap, prestigious reasons, linguistic economy, polysemy avoidance, euphemisation etc. The article deals with the consequences that the target language takes after the borrowing process and worthwhileness of their use from the perspective of the language integrity. The main subject of the research is the foreign borrowings, included in the corpus «Our words of the decade. 2000-2010 «, edited by Duden Publishers. The corpus contains miscellaneous lexical innovations.) |
