| Description |
It is proposed to use silicon polyhedral atomic clusters (ACs) in the study of nanoparticles. A scheme of the parametrized density functional theory for calculations of the atomic and electronic structures of these clusters is presented. The accuracy of the method is illustrated by the results of calculations for Si-ACs with different sizes. |
