У статті представлено аналіз можливих варіантів перекладу багатокомпонентних термінів і труднощів, пов’язаних з еквівалентною передачею значення фінансових та економічних термінів. Наводяться приклади українською, англійською і новогрецькою мовами. Автор систематизує найбільш поширені способи перекладу термінів, зокрема використання слів, які вже існують в мові (синонімів), запозичення іншомовних термінознаків тощо. У статті також розглядаються способи перекладу частково еквівалентної та безеквівалентної економічної термінології. (Currently there is a high demand for modern science in the translation of economic texts. The translation of economic literature is considered to be pretty troublesome and laborious occupation which, in addition to the considerable amount of work, requires professional knowledge in a particular industry. The difficulties of translation of economic terms are determined in the article. The role of the translator is shown in the process of intercultural communication. An analysis of possible options for translation of multicomponent terms and difficulties in the equivalent interpretation of finance and economic terms are presented. Examples are given in Ukrainian, English and Modern Greek languages, as well the requirements for the use of economic terms and lexicon, including the terms of other sciences, the number of which reaches hundreds of thousands of words and word-combinations. The author research the most common methods of translation of economic terms, which already exist in the language (synonyms), borrowing terms from other languages, construction of the term from the parts of other words.
