Annotation. Cheerleading is a new sport for Ukraine, which came to us from USA, where it started more than 100 years ago and now is one of the symbols of American sport and culture. Cheerleading is so attractive because it unites the difficulty and the beauty of motions, emotional contact with spectators. Cheerleading has great perspectives of the development in Ukraine, but its progress slows down because of the lack of information, the absence of the methodical recommendations and scientific literature. That’s why it is important to study American experience in the field of the training process organization and unite it with the Ukrainian methodical recommendations in gymnastic, aerobics and acrobatics to get the adapted methodical base for the training process in cheerleading.
