In the last decade the problem of widespread use of computer technologies in education has been of great interest in pedagogy. Development of the information society requires applying computer technology in education. Penetration of modern computer technology in education allows teachers to change the content, methods and organizational forms of education qualitatively. The purpose of these technologies in education is to enhance students' intellectual capabilities in the information society. These technologies are also aimed at humanisation, individualization, intensification of teaching process and improving the quality of education at all levels of the educational system. The use of computer technologies can enhance learning motivation. The use of computer technologies in the educational process can personalize and differentiate teaching process by implementing an interactive dialogue, enabling self-select learning activities and computer visualization of the objects studied. The article deals with the pedagogical conditions of using computer-based teaching in the professional training of future engineers.
