Description In the article the state and features power factor correction systems and lighting power systems cities, ways to deal with issues of voltage regulation and reactive power compensation using phase switchable transformer thyristor controlled. Analysis of existing schemes volt transformer additional modulated control voltage is insufficient evidence of their efficiency with the high unit cost of devices, their large mass and size. This greatly complicates the possibility of their use in power supply systems of cities with high levels of uncertainty space and a wide range of parameters mode. Best technical and economic indicators have devices with electronic control. The combination of these advantages of magnetic and semiconductor technology can solve a simple and convenient ways to smooth matters contactless voltage regulation in wide range. To determine the conditions of reliable and economical operation of the booster transformer authors developed a mathematical model that takes into account the features of the wiring of the booster transformer, nonlinearity, and the possibility of deep saturation of the magnetic system. Accounting for non-linear characteristics booster transformer combined with deep saturation of the magnetic system have identified a booster transformer new features that are not available in conventional transformers. This primarily relates to the nature of change in the modulus and phase of the and current in the windings of the booster transformer. Consideration of these properties allowed us to establish a valid and cost- effective operation of the transformer in the quasi-steady-state and transient conditions, and to develop effective methods for controlling and managing the booster transformer. Installation of such devices anywhere on the network, in combination with improved dimensions and weight and cost parameters, as well as a high level of automation allow integration into existing management modes power system cities. And produce a significant effect on reducing the loss of voltage and power networks through integrated treatment of voltage control and reactive power compensation.
В статье рассмотрено состояние и особенности компенсации реактивной мощности в системах электроснабжения и освещения городов, пути комплексного решения вопросов регулирования напряжения и компенсации реактивной мощности на основе использования фазопереключаемых вольтодобавочных трансформаторов с тиристорным управлением.
