У дослідженні створено оригінальну концепцію та цілісну методику аналізу художнього конфлікту драматургічного твору, яка заснована на моделюючому підході, дає можливість розмежувати поняття конфлікту й художнього конфлікту й окреслити зв’язки художнього конфлікту з іншими змістовими та формальними компонентами твору літератури; уточнено взаємозалежність виявлення художнього конфлікту від роду, виду, жанру твору літератури. Особливий акцент здійснено на обґрунтуванні літературного періоду 1990–2010 років та наявності в ньому двох підперіодів; конкретизовано наукове функціонування термінів «дев’яностники» і «двотисячники» на позначення драматургів, чия творчість має чітко відмінні риси; здійснено аналіз літературно-критичного та театрального дискурсу сучасної української драматургії. Проаналізовано однокомпонентні типи художніх конфліктів, побудовані на основі базових критеріїв, змістових і формальних критеріїв вищих рівнів твору, допоміжних критеріїв; визначено типологічні спільності художніх конфліктів у межах творчих доробків Я. Верещака, В. Шевчука, Г. Штоня, Неди Нежданої, абсурдистів Сашка Ушкалова та А. Вишневського; охарактеризовано позначення барокових, романтичних та реалістичних стильових елементів на рисах художніх конфліктів п’єс 1990–2010 рр.
The thesis is devoted to the study of discourse, evolution, typology of artistic conflicts in the Ukrainian drama of 1990–2010. An original conception and the methods for analyzing artistic conflict based on the modeling approach have been presented. It enables us to distinguish between the concept of conflict and artistic conflict, trace the relationship of artistic conflict with the other contextual and formal components of a drama and specify artistic conflicts depending on a type and genre of literature. Particular emphasis is laid on the literary period of 1990–2010 and its two subperiods. The main characteristics of this period – the common historical experience and homogeneous peculiarities of the texts to be influenced by it; similar aesthetic programs and ideals of art, integrity, distinction, connection with the previous periods and chronological restrictions have been determined. The Ukrainian dramatists of 1990–2010 whose works are characterized by the distinctive features have been defined as the-turn-of-the-millennium playwrights. The literary-critical and theatrical discourses of modern Ukrainian drama have been analyzed. On the basis of the analysis such criteria of a good drama as a vivid artistic conflict, importance and urgency of the problems, action and imagery have been specified, along with a staging. The one-component types of artistic conflicts that are based on the fundamental criteria, content and formal criteria for analyzing the highest levels of works and other additional criteria have been examined. Being general, the criteria of the conflict participants as well as its forms do not determine the distinction between the drama of the 1900s and that one of the 2000s. It is noted that on the thematic level the plays of these subperiods focus on history. This in its turn leads to the prevalence of the historical type of artistic conflict as the external type of a serious and vivid conflict. At the turn of the millennium the principle change in values caused by social crisis affected the internal conflict of self-determination. Modern Ukrainian drama is characterized by the different types of artistic conflicts – dramatic, comic and tragic ones dominating to a certain degree. The methods developed for analyzing artistic conflict allow us to suggest that the Ukrainian drama of 1990–2010 tends to that one of the previous periods, and dramatic conflicts continue to dominate. The analysis of artistic conflict based on the typological approach identifies that the evolution of the artistic conflicts in the Ukrainian drama of 1990–2010 is influenced by the changes on the thematic level. It is closely connected with intensity, vividness and expressive forms. The typologies of the conflict participants, ideological and aesthetic content have not illustrated any changes. The text analysis shows that the conflict intensity is generally reached by the action concentration, interrogative sentences, exclamations and a making-decision monologue. The typological similarities of conflicts in the works of Y. Vereshchak, V. Shevchuk, G. Shton’, Neda Nezhdana, absurdists Sashko Ushkalov and A. Vishnevsky have been determined. The evolution of the criteria and stylistic typologies appears to be rather complicated process. The author’s works typology includes all his/her plays written with a short interval for the two subperiods mentioned. The typological changes in them are not cardinal. They mainly add to macroconflict of the playwright’s works. It has also been proved that the peculiarities of the artistic conflicts in the Ukrainian drama of 1990–2010 are influenced by baroque, romantic and realistic style elements. In general it can be explained by common post-modernist tendency in the drama works of the period researched. |
