Автором оцінюється внесок М.С. Грушевського у дослідження устрою українських міст ранньомодерної доби. Вчений уперше в українській історіографії всебічно проаналізував основні блоки проблем, пов’язаних із висвітленням укладу міст. Також виокремив основні напрямки, над якими згодом працювали практично всі дослідники цієї проблеми. Значну увагу історик присвятив магдебурському праву в українських містах та його різновидам. Встановлено, що внесок в урбаністичні студії ранньомодерної доби вченого був значною мірою піонерським та накреслював основні проблеми, над якими працювали практично всі дослідники міського життя тогочасних українських міст. (The author estimates the contribution of Mykhailo Hrushevskyi to the research of the Ukrainian cities system in the early modern period. Mykhailo Hrushevskyi was the first in the Ukrainian historiography who comprehensively analysed main units of the problems connected with the description of city’s system. In addition, Mykhailo Hrushevskyi singled out key areas in which later almost all researchers of this problem worked. The famous historian devoted considerable attention to the Magdeburg Law in the Ukrainian cities and to its versions. It is established by the author of the research that Hrushevskyi’s contribution to urbanistic studios of an early modern era was substantially pioneer and that Hrushevskyi outlined the main problems, which were in the centre of attention of practically all subsequent researchers of city life of the Ukrainian cities of that time.) |
