У статті розкриваються особливості формування академічної чесності в системі вищої освіти. Автором розглядаються морально-етичні засади поняття «академічна чесність», як базису формування системи професійних якостей особистості: вимогливість до самого себе і свого оточення, відповідальність за наслідки своїх дій, чесність. Акцентується увага на ролі і значущості академічної чесності у процесі підготовки студентів, здатних ефективно виконувати свої освітні обов’язки в умовах мінливої соціально-економічної ситуації в нашій країні. Висвітлюється вплив академічної чесності на якість освіти.
The article reveals the peculiarities of academic integrity formation in the higher education system. The author examines the educational, moral and ethical principles of the term "academic integrity", which affects the high professional skills, based on such qualities as demanding for themselves and their environment, responsibility for the consequences of their actions, integrity. The emphasis is on the educational values of this term in higher education institutions, for example, academic integrity becomes especially relevant in the process of preparing students able for effectively carry out their educational duties in a changing of socio-economical situation in our country. The academic integrity influence on the educational process and the definition of the education content at the present time are highlighted in the article. The theoretical analysis of the term of "academic integrity" essence in the educational context has shown that in order to obtain good knowledge, students must approach the educational process from the creative side. Those who use plagiarism can not develop this side, because copying other people's works does not useful for mental activity. Therefore, in order for our students to have good knowledge, we must educate them in the academic integrity pursuit and orientation towards creativity. The age of globalization should become a source of new ideas for higher education institutions graduates. As a result, they will be perceived as competent, capable for specialist’s competition. Due to the lack of the problem research, the development of public responsibility in higher education in our country and in all society, and the revival of ideas, that are concerning of moral and ethical principles in education, the topic of academic integrity has been updated in the educational context. The prospects for further research are that we will consider issues in relation to religion, the balance of educational standards and the quality of education, scientific ethics and responsibility for their work, university rules and historical factors. В статье раскрываются особенности формирования академической честности в системе высшего образования. Автором рассматриваются морально-этические основы понятия «академическая честность», как базиса формирования системы профессиональных качеств личности: требовательность к самому себе и своему окружению, ответственность за последствия своих действий, честность. Акцентируется внимание на роли и значимости академической честности в процессе подготовки студентов, способных эффективно выполнять свои образовательные обязанности в условиях меняющейся социально-экономической ситуации в нашей стране. Освещается влияние академической честности на качество образования. |
