Description |
Propaganda is often nowadays regarded as a negative term that presupposes manipulation through lies, deceit and brainwashing (Cull et al. 2003: xv). It is always a means that ideology uses to bring the ideas into mass. As ideology tends to be “organized and systematic” (Charteris-Black 2011: 21), propaganda becomes a rhetoric tool (Stanley 2015) that sets the ideas and views in a way suitable for the dominant political force.
