В статті звертається увага на взаємозалежність двох складних феноменів: модернізації та соціально-професійної структури населення. Використовуючи модель модернізації Р. Інглхарта та К. Вельцеля автор обґрунтовує вплив соціально-економічних факторів (особливості соціальної структури суспільства) на процеси демократизації в Україні. Соціальна структура в цій роботі досліджується крізь призму професійної структури суспільства, під якою розуміється загальний розподіл професій (кваліфікацій). Обґрунтовуючи необхідність подібних досліджень, автор шукає відповідь на деякі важливі питання: чи можлива в Україні успішна модернізація, виходячи із наявних якісних та кількісних характеристик професійної структури? Які політичні та соціально-економічні наслідки може мати трансформація соціальних груп, що формують професійну структуру? (This article draws attention to the interdependence of two complex phenomena: modernization and socio-occupational structure of the population. Using modernization theory by R. Inglehart and K. Welzel, the author substantiates the influence of socio-economic factors (peculiarities of the social structure of society) on the processes of democratization in Ukraine. In this research the social structure is investigated through the prism of the occupational structure of society, which refers to the general occupational (qualificational) differentiation. In substantiating the need for such studies, the author seeks to answer some of the important questions: is successful modernization possible in Ukraine, based on the existing qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the occupational structure? What kind of political and socio-economic consequences can the transformation of social groups that form an occupational structure have?) |
