Метою дослідження є аналіз можливостей та обґрунтування доцільності використання Power BI як компонента Office 365 у діяльності науковця та підрозділу науково-дослідної установи. Завдання дослідження: окреслити переваги використання Power BI; охарактеризувати та проаналізувати наявні ліцензійні пропозиції Power BI; обґрунтувати педагогічну доцільність використання Power BI у діяльності науковця та підрозділу наукової установи. Об’єктом дослідження є процес використання Office 365 у діяльності наукової установи. Предметом дослідження є Power BI як інструмент Office 365. Методи дослідження: аналіз документації з офіційного сайту Power BI, спостереження, порівняння, бесіди з представниками компанії BIJB – співробітниками Центру компетенцій BI. У роботі розглянуто переваги Power BI як інструменту Office 365 у порівнянні з традиційними табличними процесорами. Проведено порівняльний аналіз наявних типів ліцензування, які можна використати в діяльності науковця чи підрозділу науково-дослідної установи. Окреслено можливості використання безкоштовного ліцензування Desktop, якого буде достатньо для висвітлення основних та проміжних результатів діяльності науковця чи підрозділу науково-дослідної установи. Результати дослідження: теоретично обґрунтовано переваги використання Power BI як інструменту Office 365 кількісного та якісного опрацювання результатів досліджень. Висновки і рекомендації: використання Power BI Desktop для опрацювання науковцем одержаних результатів експериментального дослідження буде цілком достатньо. Проте, у діяльності підрозділу науково-дослідної установи функціонал Power BI Desktop буде досить обмеженим та недостатньо адаптивним до роботи групи науковців. The aim of this study is to analyze the opportunities and justify the appropriateness of using Power BI as a component of Office 365 in the activities of a scientist and research unit. Objectives of the study is outline the advantage of using Power BI; characterize and analyze existing Power BI licensed offers; the pedagogical expediency of using Power BI in the activities of a scientist and unit of a research institution. The object of research is the process of using Office 365 in the activities of a research institution. The subject of research is Power BI as a tool for Office 365. Research methods: analysis of documentation from the official site Power BI, observation, comparison, conversations with representatives of the company BIJB by the Center of competence BI. The paper considers the advantages of Power BI as the Office 365 tool in comparison with traditional electronic spreadsheet. A comparative analysis of the existing types of licensing that can be used in the activities of a scientist or research unit is conducted. Described is the possibility of using the free Desktop licensing, which will be sufficient to cover the main and intermediate results of a scientist or a unit of the research institution. Results of the study is the advantages of using Power BI as a tool for Office 365 to work out quantitative and qualitative research results are theoretically justified. Conclusions and recommendations: using Desktop Power BI to work out the results of a research experiment by a scientist will be quite enough. However, business unit research institution Desktop Power BI functionality will be very limited and not sufficiently responsive to the group of scientists. |
