The range of activities of modern metallurgy plants includes production of pellets, sinter cake, coke and chemical production, production of cast iron in blast furnaces, steel smelting and rolling. All these cause pollution of the atmosphere and water. The concentration of harmful substances in the atmosphere and water near plants is considerably higher than the norm. So, the ecological situation of these regions has long been a cause of public concern.
Спектр діяльності сучасних металургійних заводів включає в себе виробництво окатишів, агломерату, коксу та хімічне виробництво, виробництво чавуну в доменних печах, прокату. Все це викликає забруднення атмосфери і води. Концентрація шкідливих речовин в атмосфері і воді біля заводів значно вище норми. Таким чином, екологічна ситуація в цих регіонах вже давно є причиною суспільного неспокою. |
