High economic level of England with its peripheral geopolitical position in dynamic progressing Europe determined uncertainty of country's future and called for decisive steps on the European diplomatic arena. This process coincided with tendencies pawned in the «protoliberal» social and political paradigm, intrinsic to English in the second half of 16th cent. У статті розглядаються основні напрями соціального та політичного розвитку Англії другої половини XVI ст., аналізуються заходи англійського уряду в різних сферах внутрішньої політики, визначається характер суспільно-політичної парадигми розвитку англійського суспільства. |
