The article by V. Suhoniak is written on a significant linguistic topic, the topicality of which is determined by the fact that systematic records on Ukrainian dialectology and their profound analysis printed in Subcarpathian Society of Sciences are absent in Ukrainian studies. The article under review offers an analytical approach to H. Strypskyi, E. Baletskyi, K. Halas, P. Mihovk, and F. Potushniak publications. The publications of the above mentioned authors help to provide an insight into tendencies of local folk dialect research interests in the Transcarpathian region in 1941–1944. The author provides a thorough bibliographic analysis of linguistic studies printed in a semi-monthly edition “Literaturna Nedilia” and scientific journal “Zoria – Hajnal”. The article shows that the direct content of Subcarpathian Society of Sciences publications is still considered to be insufficiently explored and takes a marginal position over scientists’ interests. V. Suhoniak demonstrates profound knowledge in works on dialectology by F. Zhylko, S. Bevzenko, and others. The author specifies and enlarges (on the basis of Subcarpathian Society of Sciences publications) bibliographic information which is present in the dialectology atlas references by Yo. Dzenzelivskyi. The main aim of the paper has been accomplished as past bibliographic information concerning dialectology studies in Subcarpathian Society of Sciences publications, has been enlarged and specified, as well as scientific attention has been focused on the important researches of particular scientists who collaborated with Subcarpathian Society of Sciences. These significant issues prove the necessity of Ukrainian studies connected with Subcarpathian Society of Sciences to be widely spread in the scientific environment. Subcarpathian Society of Sciences publications should become more available and be evaluated as essential for Ukrainian studies. Стаття містить огляд наукових розвідок і науково-популярних заміток з української діалектології, надрукованих у виданнях Підкарпатського общества наук. Виокремлено публікації Г. Стрипського, Е. Балецького, К. Галаса, Ф. Потушняка і П. Міговка, за якими можна простежити тенденції розгортання на Закарпатті у 1941–1944 рр. дослідницького інтересу до місцевих народних говорів. |
