У статті визначено наслідки інфляції для економіки, конкретизовано вплив інфляції на ринок праці залежно від її темпів. Проаналізовано динаміку та фактори інфляції в Україні. Проведено кореляційний аналіз взаємозв’язку між інфляцією та показниками ринку праці. Побудовано криві Філліпса для ринку праці України в довгостроковому та короткостроковому періодах.
The purpose of the article is to study theoretical and analytical research on the influence of inflation on the functioning of the Ukrainian labour market. Originality of research is the study of inflation in Ukraine in the context of their impact on key indicators of the labormarket – employment and unemployment, wages, the load on the vacancy and others. The practical value of the results is to substantiate the impact of inflation on the labor market,which is a prerequisite for increasing the effectiveness of the socio-economic policy. The highrates of inflation destabilize economic activity, which is reflected in the reduction of production and demand, and thus negatively affect the functioning of the labor market. Moderate inflation in general has a positive effect on the economy and the labor market. The Phillips curve, which reflects the inverse relationship between the level of inflation and unemployment in the short run, and the lack of correlation between the relevant indicators, in the long run, are used to select priorities in the implementation of state social and economic policies. Starting from 2014, an inflationary spiral is being deployed in Ukraine due to the increase of tariffs for gas, electricity, hot and cold water; negative inflationary expectations of economic entities; monetization of the state budget deficit. The level of inflation in Ukraine does not show a strong correlation with any indicator of thelabor market. After all, the growth of consumer prices in Ukraine is due largely to nonmarketfactors, which impedes their real impact on the functioning of the labor market in accordance with market laws. The construction of the Phillips curve for Ukraine in the long-term and short-term periods was confirmed by the absence of a tie between thelevels of inflation and unemployment. Thus, the effect of inflation on the national labor market can not be described on the basis of certain macroeconomic patterns. In view ofthis, it is impossible to predict the level of unemployment (inflation) in Ukraine on the basis of the Phillips equation. At the same time, inflationary processes have a negative impact on the level of real wages. В статье определены последствия инфляции для экономики, конкретизировано влияние инфляции на рынок труда в зависимости от ее темпов. Проанализирована динамика и факторы инфляции в Украине. Проведен корреляционный анализ взаимосвязи между инфляцией и показателями рынка труда. Построены кривые Филлипса для рынка труда Украины в долгосрочном и краткосрочном периодах. |
