Позанаукові методи є ірраціональні дії, а не щось, типологічно схоже з методами науки. Завдяки успіхам наук в суспільстві сформувався високий рівень довір’я до науки. Цим користуються псевдонауковці і ті, хто відійшли від науки. Ні філософія, ні обмін неформалізованим знанням не належать до позанаукових методів.
Problems of the scientific research methodology have long attracted the attention of Ukrainian philosophers. Over the past decades the representatives of the Kyiv philosophical school have devoted quite a lot of time researching the various issues of the scientific methodology. But it happened so that none of the famous Ukrainian researchers of the last century drew attention to the fact that there is also the out-of-scientific methodology. The issue is not considered in the Ukrainian philosophy, as opposed to the question of the out-of-scientific knowledge existence that has become the object of study. This name can reasonably be used only if it is understood as a specific term to name specific irrational actions outside of science, and not as a set of methods which would be typologically similar to scientific methods of research. Knowledge in general cannot be reduced only to the scientific knowledge, therefore there is the out-ofscientificknowledge along with and regardless of the scientific knowledge; the out-of-scientific methodology can exist along with and regardless of the accepted scientific methodology. As most of the out-of-scientific knowledge has no relevance to science and scientific knowledge, the out-of-scientific methodology alsohas no relevance to science and scientific methodology for the most part. Differentiation of scientific and out-of-scientific methodology has always been necessary both for the philosophy of science and the science itself. It is of great im portance especially in our time. Significant overall scientific achievements became the reason of formation of a high level of credibility to science in the contemporary society, and this credibility can be used in spite of the scientific trueness. Real pseudo scholars and a certain number of those who are scholars by occupation but whose activity is far from real science, for different reasons, possess this credibility as well. During the twentieth century the tradition to consider philosophy as one of the scientific cognition methods appeared among the Ukrainian philosophers of the Kyiv philosophical school. Therefore the attempts to equate philosophy and some out-of-scientific methods should not be acceptable.Out-of-scientific methodology should not be confused with the nonformalized knowledge exchange, which always took place in science. The nonformalized scientific knowledge is always the scientific knowledge which scientists get with the help of scientific methods. |
