У статті досліджується питання сутності конкурентоспроможності та місце України в загальному економічному рейтингу конкурентоспроможності. Визначено поняття «конкурентоспроможність», її зміст, призначення, практичне застосування. Розглянуто ряд важливих для економіки індексів: Індекс глобальної конкурентоспроможності, Індекс сприйняття корупції, Індекс легкості ведення бізнесу, Індекс інвестиційної привабливості, Індекс економічної свободи. На базі аналізу динаміки основних світових показників конкурентоспроможності оцінено позицію України в контексті глобальної конкурентоспроможності. Проаналізовано перспективи підвищення загального рівня конкурентоспроможності шляхом якісного використання наявних інформаційних ресурсів, нових наукових знань та сучасних т ехнологій. Акцентовано увагу на найбільш важливих факторах, які негативно впливають на рівень конкурентоспроможності, тим самим гальмують розвиток економіки й знижують показники України в загальній позиції за рейтингом конкурентоспроможності. Доведено важливість і актуальність даного напряму дослідження в контексті зміцнення конкурентоспроможності економіки України, отримання країною економічної незалежності й подальших перспектив інтеграції у світову економічну систему як гідного і рівноправного партнера. The article studies issues of competitiveness essence and place of Ukraine in global economic competitiveness rating. Determined notion of “competitiveness”, its content, purpose, practical implementation. Purpose. Considered number of indexes important for the economy: Global Competitiveness Index, Corruption Perception Index, Ease of Doing Business Index, Investment Attractiveness Index, Economi c Freedom Index. On the basis of analysis of dynamic of World Global Competitiveness Index rated position of Ukraine in the context of global competitiveness. Results. Analyzed perspective of increasing the general level of competitiveness at the account of high-quality usage of available information resources, new scientific knowledge and modern technologies. Emphasized the main factors which have negative influence to the competitiveness level thus braking the development of economy and decreasing rate o f Ukraine in global competitiveness rating. Conclusions. The processes of constructing a competitive economy must concern not only individual states, but also the world community. The main goal should be the creation of socio-economic, organizational and legal conditions for effective reproduction, development and use of information and scientific potential, and as a consequence - the production and implementation of new types of competitive goods and services. Proved importance and actuality of present direction of research in the context of strengthening the competitiveness of the economy of Ukraine, receiving by country the economic independence and further perspective of integration to World economic system as dignified and equal partner. |
