The results of the research of influence diamond grains AC6 with metallic coating physical and mechanical properties on the wear resistance of the grinding tool. Shows the results of diamond grains with a metallic coating of nickel and cuprum thermogravimetric analysis. Is established that the metallization diamond grains increases the specific surface area, increases the resistance to oxidation and electrical conductivity. It was determined that the metallic coating of diamond grains improves their physicomechanical properties. In particular, cuprum metallization grains increases the toughness more than 50 % compared with the toughness of the starting diamond powder. According to the results of the research use of metallic cutting grains, included in the working layer of the grinding tools to enhance wear resistance of diamond wheels up to 3 times faster than the standard diamond grinding wheel and receive better surface treated parts. Coating of diamond grains not only improve their physical-mechanical properties, but also change the character contact of the tool with the workpiece. It was determined that the most effective is cuprum-coated grains, is associated with increased the toughness of the grains, as well as high electrical and thermal conductivity of the coating. |
