One of the effective way of machining of the hard-to-machine materials is the ultrasonic cutting which is carried out by superposition of ultrasonic oscillations on a cutter, promotes essential reduction of cutting force and heightening of productivity of turning. In a paper results of researches of efficiency of use of the device for ultrasonic cutting with electrostrictive drive are presented. As a final control device the toolholder with elastic elements which allow to realise cutter oscillating motions in a direction of speed of cutting at the expense of a strain of elastic plates of a toolholder under the influence of a power impulse drive is offered. Source of ultrasonic oscillations is the electrostriction vibrodrive which realises oscillations in a range 10?20 kHz with amplitude 10?15 microns. Experimental researches confirm efficiency of the offered toolholder for transmission of a wave of ultrasonic oscillations practically perpendicularly to an axis of vibrodrive, that allows to unload of a vibrodrive from cutting force and to use impulses of oscillations only for a deformation of elastic plates in the range of amplitude of ultrasonic oscillations. The device ensures conditions for machining hard-to-machine materials, allows to raise working accuracy of details, to decrease a roughness of the machined surfaces and to raise productivity of turning. |
