The results proved thar ion-plasma thermocyclic nitriding while forming the strengthened surface of high-alloy steel, helped to increase the hardness of the working surface to 9.12 GPa, compared to traditional methods; increase the productivity of the process 3-5 times and form a nitride layer surface without cracks. The data on the durability of reinforced layers in conditions of abrasive wear showed the effectiveness of the method for surface hardening high-strength steels. |
