The proposed method for inspecting the appearance of an article made of facing stone implies determining the parameters that characterize the appearance and the quality of the surface of the article and comparing the values of the said parameters with the corresponding specified values. The method consists in entering the said parameter values into the memory of a computer, forming the image of the article, transforming the image into digital data, entering the digital data into the computer memory, determining the parameters that characterize the appearance and the quality of the surface of the article by the applied software of the computer, comparing the actual values of the said parameters with the corresponding specified values, and using the comparison results for determining the serviceability of the article. |
