Excavation of coal from the bowels leads to irreversible deformation of the rock mass and the Earth's surface and thus undermining objects. The process of surface subsidence has a certain discrete, which is caused by several factors, such as heterogeneity of the rock mass, presence of violations and variability of geological conditions within the extraction pillar. Trough the analysis of instrumental observations of the surface subsidence, some unexplained phenomena write off on the manifestation of the subsidence discreteness, and are not always justified. One of these phenomena was recorded by the instrumental observations in the mines of Western Donbass coal basin at depths of 100?300 m. This phenomenon manifests itself in the form of a local increase of surface subsidence over the face entry. Analysis of the results showed that the value of the additional subsidence is linearly dependent on the depth of the development. Values are reduced, and the area of their display increases in size with increasing depth. Installed phenomenon is the result of movement of the working face and occurs only over the face |
