The kinetics modeling of nitrogen oxides accumulation in the combustion chamber of a diesel engine is an important factor in optimizing its operation both at the design stage and in choosing the optimal composition of the fuel for environmental criteria, efficiency and durability. Numerical modeling of the nitrogen oxides accumulation is made by using software system developed at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University by A.S.Kuleshov. By using well-known Fermi-Dirac model upgraded by Professor I.G. Grabar the generalized mathematical model based on the results of numerical simulations has been developed. |
