The invention relates to measurement instrumentation in the mining-and-geological field. The method for grain-size analysis of mining greenalite rocks consists in preparing a slide made of mining greenalite rocks to be tested, the slide is placed in the flatbed scanner and digital video picture of the slide surface is formed and it is stored. Then the grain lateral dimensions of mining greenalite rocks are measured visible on the grinding surface by received digital video picture and is carried out determination of belonging mining greenalite rock grains to specific particle-size fractions and computer-aided recalculation of grain composition visible on the grinding surface to the real grain composition. The invention provides accuracy increase of mining greenalite rock grain-size analysis. |
