On the basis of computer simulation of slot cutting with the help of a slot mill instantaneous values of cutting component forces were determined; at the same time we studied the influence of radial wobble of the mill upon them in various milling schemes. It was ascertained that in counter milling the values of cutting component forces exceed similar values in climb milling except for squeezing force, which decreases in counter milling. It was found out that if we increase radial wobble in climb milling, the values of cutting component forces may double, while in counter milling ? 1,5 increase in power. |
