Tap has lead and calibrating parts, chip grooves, groups of the teeth of complete profile, helical groove. The helical groove is multiturn on the entire length of the working part of the tap and will form the groups of the teeth of reduced profile. The number of approaches of the helical groove is equal to the number of chip grooves. One of the sides of the helical groove coincides with the prescribed surfaces of the chamfer of the tap. |
