The paper offers a systematic mathematical method for calculating the size of the earth's surface controlled by space craft remote sensing (RS) with the curvature of the Earth, the spacecraft orbital parameters and specifications board target equipment opto-electronic type with a conical zone view at the nadir of its orientation. In this case, to estimate the error in the results obtained for the simplified formulas, compared with the formulas for the spherical model of the Earth, and the proposed criteria for choosing between these formulas. Developed mathematical apparatus makes it possible to calculate the size of the controlled areas of the earth surface with an accuracy sufficient for practical applications of remote RS. |
