The article proves that the definition of fatigue life of parts from technological conditions require significant processing time and economic costs. In this regard, the questions of creation methodology that allows mathematical model of fatigue life for a structural material, obtained through experimental studies to all materials of this classification group. The method takes into consideration the actual parameters (chemical composition, physical and mechanical properties) of materials classification group that comprises the experimental material. The group is based on determining the relative ratios of generalized characteristics, taking into account the specifics of each material classification group, methods of multivariate statistical analysis ? factor analysis. The results of fatigue tests of samples from steel 40X State Standard 4543-71 that allowed us to obtain a mathematical dependence fatigue life of the material from turning regimes and stress of cycle. The relative ratios of generalized properties for chromium alloyed steels are determined and adjustments created by a mathematical model for its use of the material for other classification groups are made.
